Also known as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), the McKenzie Method is a philosophy of active patient involvement and education for back, neck, and extremity problems. The key distinction is its initial assessment component - a safe and reliable means to accurately reach a mechanical diagnosis and only then make the appropriate treatment plan. McKenzie clinicians have a valid indicator to know right away whether - and how - the method will work for each patient. Most patients, who respond favorably, can successfully treat themselves and minimize the number of visits to our clinc. Patients who stick to the prescribed treatment protocols are less likely to have persistent problems.
The Kinesio Taping® Method is a definitive rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to:
Latex-free and wearable for days at a time, Kinesio® Tex Tape is safe for populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric, and successfully treats:
The Kinesio® Taping Method is a therapeutic taping technique not only offering your patient the support they are looking for, but also rehabilitating the affected condition as well. By targeting different receptors within the somatosensory system, Kinesio® Tex Tape alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage by microscopically lifting the skin. This lifting affect forms convolutions in the skin thus increasing interstitial space and allowing for a decrease in inflammation of the affected areas.

Also known as ART is a soft tissue management system used to restore optimal texture, motion, and function of the soft tissue and release any entrapped nerves or blood vessels.
Every ART session is actually a combination of examination and treatment. The ART provider uses his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness, and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, and nerves.
These treatment protocols are unique to ART. They allow providers to identify and correct the specific problems that are affecting each individual patient. ART is NOT a cookie cutter approach.
The Chi Machine blends the ancient arts with modern technology for a unique experience. The Chi machine maximizes the movement of the body which helps to provide prompt temporary relief. Fatigue or excess physical exertion can generally lead to minor muscular aches, pains and tension.
Features and benefits:
The Chi machine combines the motions of walking and swimming. Fifteen minutes is equivalent to 10,000 steps in terms of body oxygenation.
The Chi Machine delivers the best possible lateral "goldfish-like" movement to the spine while the body is in the ideal position.
Massages internal organs and all body systems.

Also known as MFR is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate the pain and restore motion.
The use of MFR allows us to look at each patient as a unique individual. Our one-on-one treatments use a multitude of techniques and movement therapy. We promote independence through education in proper body mechanics and movement, self treatment, instruction and postural and movement awareness.
Each MFR session is performed directly on skin without oils, creams, or machinery. This enables the therapist to accurately detect fascial restrictions and apply the appropriate amount of sustained pressure.
Prices for above sessions are for SELFPAY only. Insurance visits are billed differently. Descriptions of specific therapies are below.
